Tour Guide
I m working as a tour guide form the last few years. my tours are perfect for the visitors who wanted to see GOLDEN TEMPLE AMRITSAR, VILLAGE and other cities of PUNJAB.
I am interested in people and places, and I care for both. My passion for my country, India, and my people are what I attempt to convey to my clients through tour guiding, and that is the sentiment I wish for them, too, to return home with. I take a personal interest in ensuring my clients' interests, the pace of travel and safety are met. I am also attentive to their moods and physical state of health on a day to day basis. I am mature and understanding.
I am aware that while working through a third party, it is not only my reputation as a Tour Guide that I need to preserve but also that of the organization I represent and its other agents I might be working with. I have traveled very widely both within India and abroad, and have a penchant for off-beat places and activities. I have a B.A. (Honours) degree in History. I am familiar with foreign cultures, lifestyles, and expectations. I can create customized itineraries to suit both time and budget.
I am particular about hygiene and health, and take care to minimize my clients' exposure to pollution and germs. I take a special interest in ecotourism and therefore build my itineraries around eco places wherever possible.
An outgoing, friendly personality able to handle people, verbal fluency, aptitude for languages are the skill set required to be successful in the field. You need to have a thorough knowledge relating to traveling and tourist destinations, business tactics and social etiquette.
Lastly, the ability and patience to help and provide hospitality is a must. One should also have up-to-date knowledge of available facilities and services in the field.
